GUWAHATI, Nov 13: Eminent surgeon of the state, Dr Subhash Khanna was recently invited to the Annual Conference of the Association of Laparoscopic Surgeons of Great Britain and Ireland (ALSGBI) to deliver a talk. He was one of the four members of the Indian delegation who were invited as faculty to deliver a talk at the meet. Dr Khanna delivered talk on ERCP and spyglass for gastrointestinal surgeons, a technique that helps remove stones from liver ducts and helps treat many liver disorders.
Dr Khanna was also conferred with honorary fellowship of the prestigious Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh at the grand convocation ceremony held on Friday at the premises of the college in Edinburgh.
