BOKAJAN, Aug 16: In a successful operation, the police in Karbi Anglong recovered a significant amount of heroin in Khatkhati. Acting on credible information, the police conducted a raid at the residence of Furkan Ali (37), son of Late Abdul Hamid, residing in Kaliram Basti under PS-Khatkhati. The operation resulted in the seizure of six packets of heroin, collectively weighing 57.65 grams, from Ali’s house.
The police have taken immediate action by registering a case in connection with the seizure. Furkan Ali has been apprehended as a suspect in this case.
The successful operation underlines the ongoing efforts by law enforcement authorities to combat illegal drug trafficking and related activities.
