JNH36 to work for irregularities faced by land owners

DIPHU, Nov 11: A new organisation by the name and style of Justice for National Highway 36 (JNH36) was formed in a meeting here on October 29 to “wage war against the rampant corruption which has come to light in the process of implementing four lane National Highway 36 construction.”
In a press release, JNH36 said that it “was constituted taking into consideration the grievance of land owners pertaining to irregularities in the distribution of land acquisition compensation. This committee also took cognizance of the dubious ways and means carried out by the Land Revenue Department officials in order to illegally obtain land acquisition compensation for themselves.”
JNH36 has Devinson Hanse as its president and Langki Phangcho as its secretary.
