KAAC CEM Tuliram Ronghang inaugurates, lays foundation of development schemes

DIPHU, July 2: Chief Executive Member (CEM) of Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC), Tuliram Ronghang on Tuesday inaugurated different development schemes and laid foundation stones for various development schemes to be executed in Langfer Member of Autonomous Council (MAC) Constituency in Karbi Anglong.

The CEM inaugurated the newly constructed building of the Village Development Committee Bhawan of Langfer Member of Autonomous Council (MAC) Constituency near Sankur Market in Bakaliaghat town. He said this Bhawan will provide a much needed space for the VDC members to conduct its meetings, plan initiatives and store important documents.

The CEM also laid the foundation stone for constructing roads and drainage systems in Bakalia town and inaugurated a new building of Skill Development Training Centre of the Adult Education Department at Bahoni Adarsho.

He said, “This centre marks a significant step forward in our commitment to adult education and empowering individuals to reach their full potential and create a conductive learning environment for adult learners.”

The CEM also laid the foundation stone for the implementation of various development schemes worth Rs. 5 crores under Langfer MAC constituency.

Diphu MLA Bidyasing Engleng, executive members of KAAC Mangal Sing Timung and Madhuram Lekthe, PWD Board chairman, Longsing Tokbi and chairman of Bakalia Town Committee, Hemsing Teron were present on the occasion.
