DIPHU, Nov 12: The 23rd Executive Committee (EC) meeting of the 13th Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC) was held on Tuesday at the Conference Hall of the CEM Block, Old Secretariat Building, under the chairmanship of Chief Executive Member (CEM) Tuliram Ronghang.
The meeting was attended by Executive Members, senior officials, and heads of departments.
The committee reviewed the progress of ongoing administrative and developmental projects, ensuring that flagship initiatives align with the council’s vision of inclusive growth and efficient governance.
New proposals focusing on tribal welfare, improved public services, and sustainable regional development were also discussed.
According to the KAAC’s official updates, the meeting underscored the importance of transparency, accountability, and people-centric administration as core principles of governance.
In his address, Ronghang reaffirmed the council’s commitment to accelerating development across Karbi Anglong through strategic planning and coordinated implementation.
He stressed the need for inter-departmental cooperation to ensure that all welfare and infrastructure schemes effectively reach the grassroots.
The session concluded with a collective resolve to strengthen tribal self-governance and transform Karbi Anglong into a model of sustainable and inclusive development under the council’s leadership.
