KHERONI, July 22: The Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC) has inaugurated a dedicated Pension & Grievance Cell at its secretariat premises in Diphu to address pension-related issues and grievances of employees in a structured and transparent manner.
The cell was formally launched in a brief ceremony led by Mukul Kumar Saikia, IAS, Principal Secretary of KAAC.
Sonasing Terang, Deputy Secretary, has been appointed as the in-charge of the new facility.
Speaking at the event, Principal Secretary Saikia expressed gratitude to Dilip Terang, ACS, Secretary of the P(A) Department, for his guidance in setting up the cell.
He also acknowledged the contribution of various officials, including Joint Secretaries, Deputy Secretaries, the Under Secretary, District Public Education Officers of Diphu and Hamren, Senior Financial Officer, FAO (C), Additional Chief Engineer (Water), Executive Engineers of Water Resources and Mechanical divisions, Transport officials, and others involved in the initiative.
Special thanks were also extended to the President, Vice President, Secretary, Chief Advisor, and members of the Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council Employees’ Association (KAACEA) for their support and cooperation in operationalising the cell.
