DEMOW, March 12: The Rural Journalist Association Assam organised “Role of Rural Journalists in Rural Development” lecture session in head office of Rangpur Bhaban near NH-37 Kachomari, Demow on Saturday.

The programme started with cleanliness drive which was followed by plantation of saplings by Luhit Gogoi, a social worker. The flag was hoisted by Brojen Phukan, President of Rural Journalist Association Assam. The smiti tarpan was offered by Rajani Kanta Panging, Secretary of Rural Journalist Association Assam.
