KHERONI, July 11: The body of a 45-year-old man, identified as Ayush Akai of Jerikindeng Terang village in West Karbi Anglong district, was recovered under suspicious circumstances on Friday from the banks of Amrit Sarovar, near the Jerikinding-Makailum road.
According to information received from local authorities, the body bore visible injuries on multiple parts, including the head, suggesting foul play.
