MANGALDAI, July 21: Hitesh Hazarika, an English teacher at Otola Higher Secondary School and resident of Kabikara village under Mangaldai police station, is earning praise for his commitment to hard work and community values by spending his summer vacation working in the fields.
Known for his dedication both as an educator and a socially conscious citizen, Hazarika has chosen to utilise the holiday period by engaging in farming activities.
On Sunday, he was seen tilling his one-bigha plot of land for paddy cultivation, guiding a pair of oxen while cheerfully humming to himself—trading chalk and classroom for plough and field.
Apart from his teaching responsibilities, Hazarika also works as a part-time journalist and remains active in community development.
His example is being widely appreciated by students and villagers alike, who find his commitment to productivity and self-reliance deeply inspiring.
By choosing to remain engaged in meaningful work during the vacation, Hazarika has emerged as a role model for the youth, demonstrating that dedication and purpose can drive both personal progress and community development.
