Medical Sub-Centre Inaugurated At Langchething

BOKAJAN: A new medical sub-centre was inaugurated at Langchething (Saphapani) by Dr Numal Momin, the MLA of Bokajan and Deputy Speaker of Assam Legislative Assembly on Monday.

During the inauguration, a meeting was held to discuss the development and public works initiatives in Bokajan sub-division of Karbi Anglong. The medical sub-centre, equipped with 30 beds, aims to enhance healthcare facilities in the area.

Additionally, the foundation stone for a school at Khatkhati Jor Tokbi village was recently laid, with an estimated cost of Rs 6 crore for its construction.

The inaugural event witnessed the presence of prominent figures, including Member of Autonomous Council Kadom Terangpi, executive member of Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council Richard Tokbi, chairman of Village Development Committee Silarson Rongpi, and other dignitaries.
