DIPHU, Sept 29: West Karbi Anglong deputy commissioner Krishna Baruah, ACS and ADC Tahidur Rahman convened a meeting with bank managers of all branches of AGBV, Union Bank and SBI, where details of the status of student bank account opening, its issues and problems were discussed. FAO SSA West Karbi Anglong detailed the entire issues and problems before the DC. The meeting ended fruitfully with sharing of suggestions among the members present and the officials are hopeful that the percentage of opening of student bank accounts will improve.

The meeting was attended by DMC SSA West Karbi Anglong, Hakim Rongpi and all DPOs, BMCs and block accountants.
