Miss Assam Organisation felicitates Anamika Borah and Arundhuti Saikia

GUWAHATI, Sept 2: The Miss Assam Organisation held a press meet on Monday at the Guwahati Press Club to officially announce the date for Season 3 of Miss Assam, scheduled for October 20, 2024. The pageant has been running successfully under the banner of All Assam Youth Empowering Association, a non-profit organisation.

During the press meet, the organisation honoured two of Assam’s rising stars—Anamika Borah, the newly crowned Miss Universe Assam-2024 and reigning Miss Assam, and Arundhuti Saikia, the recently crowned Femina Miss India Assam-2024. Both from Jorhat, Anamika Borah will compete in the National Finale of Miss Universe-2024, while Arundhuti Saikia will participate in Femina Miss India-2024. Both women are diligently preparing under the guidance of the Miss Assam Organisation, aiming to bring pride to Assam with their talent and grace.

The Miss Assam Organisation has been dedicated to providing young women with a platform to shine and feel empowered. The director of Miss Assam Organisation, Shyamanga Protim Kashyap along with co-director Akumnaro Imsong, addressed the media and shared the organisation’s ongoing commitment to empowering young budding women. They emphasised that this year’s Miss Assam pageant will focus on women’s health and hygiene, continuing its tradition of creating opportunities for young women to showcase their talents, build confidence, and inspire others. The organisation’s goal is to create opportunities for young women to excel on national and international stages, further elevating the state’s reputation.
