The women organisations questioned the law and order authority for beating a woman by policemen and condemned the cruelty of the police personnel. The women’s organisations demanded an immediate enquiry into the matter in order to deliver justice to Mariam Rongpipi and her husband Kania Tokbi. The women organisations also demanded for suspension of the officer-in-charge of Samelangso and Dokmoka police stations.
