MORIGAON, July 11: A district-level meeting on the Swachh Survekshan Grameen (SSG) 2025 was organised on Friday at Mayong College under the aegis of Morigaon Zila Parishad.
The event was conducted by the Public Health Engineering Department, Morigaon, as part of the ongoing awareness and preparatory initiatives for the national rural sanitation survey.
The meeting was chaired by District Commissioner Anamika Tiwari and focused on key aspects such as district-level preparedness, enhancing rural awareness, and promoting the importance of sustainable sanitation practices.
Discussions were also held on the constructive steps required for maintaining a long-term cleanliness ecosystem in rural areas.
The programme witnessed participation from CEO of Morigaon Zila Parishad Ananta Gogoi, the Block Development Officer of Mayong, and officers from various departments.
