Multi-specialty medical camp inaugurated in Chirang

KOKRAJHAR, March 11: A multi-specialty medical camp, organised by the Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram (RBSK), was officially inaugurated by the District Social Welfare Officer of Chirang at the JSB Civil Hospital, Kajalgaon. The camp was held to provide comprehensive healthcare services to children and improve their overall well-being.

The medical camp featured specialist screenings conducted by a team of healthcare professionals, including Pediatricians, Gynecologists, ENT specialists, Eye specialists, Dental surgeons, Physiotherapists, Community nurses, and Audiometric assistants. These screenings were designed to address a wide range of health concerns and ensure early diagnosis and treatment.

The program’s primary objective is to enhance the quality of life for children in the region by offering accessible and specialized healthcare services at no cost to the families. Through this initiative, RBSK aims to promote health awareness and provide the necessary medical support to children in the community.

The event was attended by prominent officials, including the joint director of health services (Jt DHS), district tuberculosis officer (DTO), district program manager (DPM), district accounts manager (DAM), district medical officer (DME), district co-ordination (DCO – RBSK), and block co-ordinator (BCo). Their presence underscored the importance of this initiative and highlighted the collective effort to improve children’s healthcare in the region.
