Muslims, Christians join saffron party in Karbi Anglong

BAKALIA, April 22: The BJP claimed that a large number of people from the Muslim and Christian community have joined the party in a public meeting held at BJP Langpher Mondal office.

They were welcomed by the chief executive member (CEM) of Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council, Tuliram Ronghang.

He said all communities are welcome to join BJP and expressed confidence that its candidate for 6- Diphu (ST) Parliamentary Constituency, Amarsing Tisso will win. The winning margin will break the last election result.

Diphu MLA, Bidya Sing Engleng, chairman of the Minority Development Board, Habib Mohammad Choudhary and others also addressed the poll campaign.
