Nagaon DTO Appeals Public To Follow Traffic Rules

NAGAON, April 19: The new district transport officer of Nagaon Sunit Bora on Tuesday appealed to everyone to follow all traffic rules as well as MVI guidelines and other strict measures to lessen the possibility of road mishaps across the district during the ongoing Bihu festivities.

While speaking to this correspondent here, the new DTO said that the department concerned has left no stone unturned to make people aware of this.

Besides, the officials from the department concerned scheduled routine checking as well as rapid patrolling on the road on a regular basis, he added.

Urging all bike riders as well as car drivers of the district, he appealed everyone to wear helmets as well as tighten seat belts while they visit the Bihu functions nearby their respective locations on their bikes or in their respective cars.

All rules, as well as guidelines initiated by the government, are only for the benefits as well as life security of the people in general, Bora further added.
