Nine Tezpur University ECE students placed at Bharat Electronics Limited

TEZPUR, June 23: Nine students from the Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) Department of Tezpur University have secured campus placements at Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), a Navratna Public Sector Undertaking under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India.

The placement drive was conducted at the university from June 12 to 13, 2025, and concluded with the selection of nine final-year B.Tech (ECE) students.

The selected candidates will join BEL at an impressive Cost to Company (CTC) package ranging between ₹12.5 and ₹13 lakh for the E-II grade.

The package includes Performance Related Pay (PRP) and annual Dearness Allowance (DA) revisions.

Congratulating the selected students, Vice Chancellor Prof. Shambhu Nath Singh said, “We are incredibly proud of our students who have demonstrated exceptional talent and secured these prestigious positions at Bharat Electronics Limited.”

Tezpur University has a dedicated Training and Placement Cell catering to both Engineering and Non-Engineering disciplines.

The cell provides pre-placement training, internship opportunities, industry interaction, and comprehensive placement assistance.

The selected students are Ripunjay Deka, Rajdeep Das, Bhargov Gogoi, Shubham Kumar Kushwaha, Rohan Kumar Gupta, Shourya Kumar Singh, Vivekananda Das, Bhargab Pratim Nath, and Ritish Kumar Das.

The successful recruitment drive has further strengthened Tezpur University’s long-standing association with leading industries, continuing to create valuable career opportunities for its students.
