BISWANATH CHARIALI, July 27: The oath taking ceremony of newly constituted Biswanath district committee of Assam Sankhyalaghu Sangram Parishad was held at the conference hall of Sahitya Sabha Bhawan here at Biswanath Chariali with Abdul Hakim Sikdar on Tuesday. Md Ali Khalifa, central president of ASSP administered the oath taking ceremony wherein the executive members and office bearers of the Biswanath district committee read out the oath. A panel discussion regarding various issues including erosion, flood, poverty, issues related to education, rehabilitation, child marriage, polygamy, etc., was held followed by the oath taking ceremony. The ceremony was attended by Najir Hussain, Najir Ahmed, Kuddush Ali Sarkar, Joinuddin Ahmed, Nur Hussain, Rejaul Haque Choudhury, Nur Mohammad beside others. Abdul Rahman and Aman Khan conducted the proceedings of the meeting.
