JORHAT, April 6: Babu Das (31), a resident of Malowkhat under Pulibar Police Station was sent to judicial custody on Wednesday on charges of killing Kushal Das of the same village on Tuesday evening.

A police source said that Babu Das waylaid Kushal Das on the Malowkhat Road while the latter was on his way home and reportedly killed him with a knife.
