BISWANATH CHARIALI, Oct 6: On the auspicious occasion of the 25th Sri Sri Laxmi Puja, organised by Romance Club, one lakh earthen lamps were lit in memory of the legendary singer Zubeen Garg this evening at Lakhan Garg, Samar Dalani in Biswanath district.
Members of the Romance Club, along with the local public, participated in lighting the lamps during the evening prayer to honor the iconic musical legend. The cultural night was inaugurated by Anjan Baskota, recipient of the Sahitya Akademi Yuva Puraskar, who also paid homage by offering floral tributes before Zubeen Garg’s portrait.
