Paryavaran Sanrakshan Chetna Abhiyan Held In Hojai

HOJAI, April 11: Paryavaran Sanrakshan Chetna Abhiyan was held in front of Hojai Girls College, near Assam Sahitya Sabha Road, Natun Bazar, Hojai on Sunday. In this program, 30 persons from different organisations (Paryavaran Sanrakshan Gatividhi, RSS, Small Steps, Wild CER, Robin Hood Army and Hojai Municipality staff) participated to make the people aware about the harmful effects of plastic waste.

Dr GC Das, Eye Specialist, Hojai Nagar, Sangh Chalak; Dr Prodip Kumar Sahoo, wildlife biologist & environment conservationist and Sandip, team leader of Robin Hood Army planned to involve more volunteers to spread awareness and to urge the public to stop using plastic materials due to which the entire has area become polluted.
