Pramod Boro dedicates house to Bodo film director Jwngdao Bodosa

KOKRAJHAR, May 7: Chief executive member of Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) Pramod Boro dedicated and inaugurated the newly constructed Jwngdao Bodosa Dera being constructed at Balabari near Chandamari Gaurang River Bridge on Saturday in Kokrajhar.

The Jwngdao Bodosa Dera was dedicated and contributed by CEM Pramod Boro from his personal end to extend support to Jwngdao Bodosa.

Jwngdao Bodosa, a well-known and nationally recognised Bodo film director, producer, actor of Bodoland region who had directed the first Bodo feature film ‘Alayaran’. He was awarded the Rajat Kamal Award for his Bodo feature film ‘Alayaran’ in 1986. He has also directed ‘Hagramayao Jinahari’, another Bodo film.

BTR CEM Pramod Boro inaugurated the Jwngdao Bodosa Dera in the august presence of Jwngdao Bodosa and his wife Anjali Bodosa as well many well-wishers.

Jwngdao Bodosa and his family members expressed their gratitude for the BTR CEM Pramod Boro for extending support.
