Prohibitory order in Sonitpur in view of HSLC and HS exam

TEZPUR, Feb 11: The Sonitpur district admin has issued a prohibitory order U/S 163 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023 throughout all the examination centres of Sonitpur in view of the upcoming High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) Examination, 2025.

 The HSLC exam is scheduled to be held from February 15 to March 3 and the Higher Secondary (HS) Examination is scheduled to be held from February 13 to March 17 at various centres.

“Accordingly, no person/guardian is allowed within the radius of 100 meters of Examination centres except the candidates appearing in the examination (with valid Admit card duly signed by the competent authority), the supervisory staff and checking squad associated with the examination, agencies of the Government involved in the enforcement of law and order and the maintenance of essential services and any Government employees/officials engaged in the conduct of the examination.

No Parking and plying of vehicles will be allowed within the radius of 100 meters from the examination centres except that of authorized person on duty during the examination period. Use of high-volume loudspeakers, DJs, public addressing systems, microphones, and other similar equipment either in fixed mode or in the vehicles while plying on roads are prohibited within the radius of 100 meters of Examination centres.

Mobile phones, calculators and any other electronic gadgets/communication devices such as any Bluetooth devices, Smartwatch, earphones etc. shall not be allowed inside the Examination centres/ premises except that of centre in-charge and authorized persons on duty. No food stall, shop including existing market will be allowed within the radius of 100 meters of Examination centres.

No other person will be allowed to guide candidates for sitting on their allotted seats except the supervisory staff of Examination centre,” a PR stated.
