STRAP: Suspect arrested as investigation underway

NAGAON, June 27: Hafizur Rahman, the proprietor of ‘Jana Oshadhi Kendra’, a pharmacy located in Chalchali near Haibargaon outpost, was shot and injured by two unidentified miscreants on motorcycles last night. The incident took place when Rahman was returning home after closing his medicine outlet around 9:30 pm. The injured businessman was swiftly taken to Dew Care Nursing Home by local residents.
According to sources, the Nagaon police, led by superintendent of police Navaneet Mahanta, apprehended Inamul Hasan in connection with the incident. The victim reported that he believes the attack may have been orchestrated by hired contract killers associated with Inamul Huda and Haidar Ali, the proprietors of ‘Ham Ek Group’ in the area. Investigations are currently ongoing.
Superintendent of police Navaneet Mahanta promptly arrived at the scene and gathered detailed information about the incident. The police are actively pursuing leads to determine the motive behind the attack and bring the perpetrators to justice.
