Bhuyan while speaking on the occasion advocated the need for restoration of democracy as well as its Constitution in the country with adequate electoral participation in the ongoing Lok Sabha polls.

Addressing the media ahead of the public meeting on Monday, MP Bhuyan said that the ruling BJP has squeezed the neck of the democracy of the country and also torn the pages of the country’s Constitution.

The ruling saffron party tries to cross the electoral gaps by terrorizing and polarising the people, he said adding that BJP is a communal party.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is worried that the Bharat Joro Yatra has succeeded in the first phase of the elections, Bhuyan added further.
