Rajyogini Brahma Kumari leader Manika Devi passes away

NAGAON, Dec 9: Rajyogini Brahma Kumari Manika Devi, incharge of the Brahma Kumari’s Rajyoga Meditation Centre, Morigaon, breathed her last on Sunday after suffering from illness for quite some time.

Born in 1969 at Lakhinagar Chariali in Nagaon town, she pursued her graduation before receiving spiritual training in Rajyoga Meditation at the Nagaon Centre of Prajapita Brahma Kumari’s Ishwariya Vishwavidyalaya. She devoted her life to the spiritual upliftment of society from 1995 onwards.

Her last rites were performed on Monday at the Nagaon Amulapatty crematorium. Her demise has been mourned by various dignitaries and local organisations of Nagaon and Morigaon districts. Throughout her life, Brahma Kumari Manika Devi conducted numerous spiritual sessions and delivered talks on themes such as ‘Alvida Tanaav’, ‘Nasha Mukti Bharat Abhiyan’, stress management and leadership, ethics and values in life, among others.
