Renowned flautist Dipak Sarma passes away after prolonged illness

Guwahati, Nov 03: Assam’s noted flautist Dipak Sarma passed away in Chennai on Monday morning after being in the intensive care unit for several days.

Sarma had been receiving treatment for a prolonged illness. The Assam Chief Minister had earlier offered financial support to assist with his medical expenses.
