Sivasagar, June 27: Ripun Bora, the state chief of Trinamool Congress, led a demonstration in Sivasagar on Tuesday, opposing the deletion of 103 Amguri LAC (Legislative Assembly Constituency) in the draft delimitation notification issued by the Election Commission. Addressing a public meeting at Jaysagar TinAli, Bora questioned the ruling BJP about the rush in conducting delimitation of constituencies without first preparing a correct National Register of Citizens (NRC). He also demanded that the ruling AGP-BJP coalition clarify who would benefit from the current delimitation process.

Prior to the demonstration, Bora attended a meeting at the TMC Sivasagar office, where several individuals joined the party.
