RSETI conducts 10-day training on poultry farming in Gaurisagar

SIVASAGAR, Oct 7: The Rural Self Employment Training
Institute (RSETI) in Sivasagar, an apex training institute of
Punjab National Bank (PNB), organized a 10-day training
program on poultry farming in Gaurisagar. The program was
inaugurated by Naveen Dihingra, Chief General Manager of
NABARD’s Assam Regional Office, who lit the ceremonial lamp
at the inauguration.
Speaking at the event chaired by Pabitra Kumar Borah,
Director of RSETI, the CGM of NABARD urged the youth to
seize opportunities for self-employment through various
schemes launched by the Central and State governments.

The function was attended by Kishore Rabha, DDM of
NABARD Sivasagar, Dipak Kumar, LDM of PNB, and social
activist Rajib Dutta. During the event, the CGM also
inaugurated new infrastructure, including a Computer
Laboratory at RSETI, under the CAPEX support scheme from
NABARD, at a cost of Rs. 4.41 lakh.
A total of 35 trainers from various parts of the district
participated in the poultry farming training program.
