HOJAI, May 11: On the occasion of Science and Technology Day, a talk show and a quiz competition was organised at Sankardev Senior Secondary School in Hojai on Wednesday. The talk show was based on the development of Science and Technology which has changed the modern-day lifestyle. The quiz competition was also conducted on the topics concerning Science and Technology.
The teachers from the school were the speakers during the talk show where they mostly talked about the significance of the day, recent developments in the field of Science and Technology, scientific methods that stimulated innovation and formulated theories that have benefited mankind.
The winners of the quiz competition were Prince Hazra (Class 6), Aditya Das (Class 5) and Vansh Dixit (Class 7) in Group A. The programme ended with a concluding speech by some of the students who narrated their experiences about the learning that they gathered during the observance of Science and Technology Day.
