GUWAHATI, July 26: The Board of Secondary Education Assam (SEBA) on Tuesday launched two mobile applications.
The event was attended by Education minister Dr Ranoj Pegu and advisor to the Assam Government’s Education department Prof Nani Gopal Mahanta. The mobile applications were launched for spoken English and legacy result data of HSLC/AHM examinations for the students.
In his brief speech, Dr Pegu hoped that the newly launched applications would benefit the student community to a large extent. He stressed that from now onwards, the students will be able to download their marks sheets and pass certificates digitally at their door steps using the applications from anywhere without physically visiting the designated office premises.
He also said that the spoken English app will largely strengthen the students’ language skills.
The minister further mentioned that SEBA has been working for the development of an educational app like BYJU’S for the students which will be launched soon. “As to fulfill the needs of the students in the schools and looking to the future days the Education department has been working for the infrastructure and connectivity in regards to implementation of digital education,” he added.
