DIPHU, Aug 20: Agricultural Technology Management Agency (ATMA), Agriculture Department has been ato provide training to farmers on agricultural technology and agricultural practices in various thematic areas of agriculture and related fields.
SHGs were given training and materials under Tumpreng ADO Circle in West Karbi Anglong on Saturday. 100 poultry birds were also distributed among four self-help groups at Ganganagar and Barghat in the presence of Tumpreng Agricultural Development officer (ADO), Bandana Saikia.

The ADO provided training on the scientific rearing of pigs in Ganganagar under ATMA 2022-23 and distributed feed supplements. Veterinary Department Field demonstrator from Tumpreng, BTM Anup Das and Santosh Gohain of Rongkhang Development Block were present.
The ATMA distributed 10 country chickens each to two self-help groups in Chinthong Development Block in the presence of Dongkamukam ADO, Montu Saikia.
