Sivasagar police in trouble to identify man

SIVASAGAR, May 9:
Sivasagar police is in big trouble to find out the permanent address of a person from West Bengal, who is suspected to be living with mental illness. He said his name is Lakhya Debnath and is the son of late Dinesh Debnath but could not say which town or village he is from.

Sivasagar police picked up the man near Zenganikalia at NH-37 on April 27 and produced him in the CJM’s Court.

Later, he was handed over to the Human Welfare Centre at Hatipatty. The court has directed the 2nd officer Pradip Gogoi to find out his address as early as possible before the next appearance.
