Swachhta Pakhwada 2024 commences at Bongaigaon Refinery

KOKRAJHAR, July 2: Along with the rest of the state, the Swachhta Pakhwada 2024 was launched at the Bongaigaon Refinery, Dhaligaon, Chirang, on Monday in the presence of refinery officials and local people.

As per the instructions from the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, the Swachhta Pakhwada is being organised in all undertakings from July 1 to July 15 across the state. Accordingly, the Swachhta Pakhwada was launched at Bongaigaon Refinery on Monday at the refinery complex.

The executive director and refinery head of Bongaigaon Refinery, NK Barua, administered the Swachhta Pledge to the employees. On this occasion, jute bags prepared on the theme of Swachhta were released and distributed among the participants.

An e-journal, ‘Swachhta Khabar’, was also unveiled to keep employees updated with Swachhta-related information. The e-journal will report on cleanliness activities and publish cleanliness awareness materials.

On the occasion of Swachhta Pakhwada, Barua flagged off the Swachhta Rath to raise public awareness. Various activities are being organised to promote the spirit of cleanliness among the employees, their dependents, and other stakeholders of Bongaigaon Refinery during the fortnight from July 1 to July 15, 2024. Chief general managers, general managers, deputy general managers, department heads, IOOA, and BGREU office bearers were present on the occasion.
