The installation of the statue was initiated by Bibek Prasad, General Secretary of the ABVP-led Bholanath College Students’ Union. The event was described as a tribute to the enduring ideals of Swami Vivekananda and his vision for India’s spiritual and intellectual awakening.

The unveiling ceremony was conducted in a solemn atmosphere, with the chanting of Vedic mantras. College authorities expressed hope that the statue, now placed prominently at the heart of the campus, would serve as a lasting source of inspiration for students, particularly in the spheres of character-building and nation-building.

The event was attended by ABVP National Secretary Kamalesh Singh, Assam State Organising Secretary Anup Kumar, faculty members, dignitaries, and local citizens of Dhubri.

The college described the unveiling as a proud moment and a milestone in its history, celebrating the legacy of Swami Vivekananda as a youth icon, philosopher, and reformer.
