Ten Women Receives ‘Sunrise Boss Lady Of Assam’ Title

Guwahati, March 4:  Sunrise Pure in association with Red FM and Assam Start up on Saturday presented ‘Sunrise Boss of Assam’ title to ten eminent and inspiring women from different parts of Assam on the occasion of International Women’s Day.

Sunrise has already won the heart of the Assamese people through its initiatives to connect with them on every occasion.  And this time in association with Red FM, ITC Sunrise Pure celebrates the women power of Assam on the occasion of International Women’s Day and salutes the spirit of women entrepreneurship. The brand celebrates women entrepreneurs who have risen above odds and set upon a journey of achieving financial self-dependence and creating positive social impact, a release added.

 

The women that were conferred with the title include Daydeep Chetia (education category), Runa Rafique (Agriculture Category), Doyel Poddar (Green Tech Category), Nandini Choudhury (Handloom/ Handicrafts Category),  Geetima Deka (Innovation Category), Kavita Verma (Technology Category), Dipali Bhattacharya (Food Category),  Mitali G dutta (Food Tourism Category),  Swagata Baishya (health Category)  and Rakhi Dutta saikia(Tea Category). The eminent personalities were awarded with trophies and certificates.

Dignitaries like Rosie Kalita (superintendent of police CM Spl. Vigilence Cell) , Suranjana Dutta( general manager, State Bank of India), Rupali Kalita (MD & CEO, NESFB), Nabanita Baruah ( Nemcare Hospital) and Smitakshi B Goswami( director, Pratidin Media Group) were present at the event held at the Assam Startup – The Nest, Ambari .

It is also to be mentioned that these outstanding women have been working tirelessly for the betterment of the society through education, women empowerment and upliftment of the people.

The event was also attended by invited guests from different parts of the state as well as representatives of various social organizations.
