Tezpur, Nov 01: In a proud moment for Assam, 33-year-old Pranay Goswami from Tezpur has made it to the list of India’s top ten visionary young entrepreneurs — and he is the only Assamese to earn a place in the national ranking. The prestigious list was announced by the leading national magazine Outlook, which recognised the contributions of emerging changemakers shaping the country’s future.

Born to senior advocate Madhurya Goswami and noted writer and social worker Mita Nangia Goswami of Kumar Gaon, Tezpur, Pranay is the founder and managing director of DNG Enterprise. Through his venture, he launched two major brands — Dot Kaizen and First Move — that provide strategic political consultancy to candidates and parties across several Indian states. His advisory services have played key roles in electoral campaigns in Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Karnataka, Manipur, Meghalaya, and Assam between 2021 and 2024.

Notably, the University Grants Commission (UGC) recently recognised his academic contribution by approving his curriculum on Political Consulting, which has now been introduced at Gauhati University — a pioneering step in Indian higher education. Pranay’s initiative marks the first-ever UGC-recognised course in political consultancy in the country.

Speaking from his Tezpur residence, Pranay said, “Politics is a game played in the shadows, so the strategies behind it must remain invisible.” Besides running his enterprise, he is also an honorary member of North East Leader Connect and co-founder of the NGO Prabhudhan with Adrita Das. Together, they are working to promote ethical political consultancy and leadership training in the region.

Pranay’s recognition by Outlook has brought immense pride to Tezpur and inspired a new wave of entrepreneurial spirit among Assam’s youth.
