The new Sivasagar SP prepared a blueprint and immediately swung into action and arrested the duo. Following their confessions, Sivasagar police sent a team to Dergaon to nab the gang leaders Sabina Begum, her second husband Ashique Ali, mastermind Sheriful, Diganta, and Rubul Ali from their hideout, but the gang had fled before the police team reached their hideout.
