Two books by poet Ashrumoni Ghosh released

SIVASAGAR, Dec 15: Two books authored by poet Ashrumoni Ghosh—Bihu Aitijya Aru Parampara and Anunad—were released at a function held at the residence of Padmashree Imran Shah here on Monday.

The books were formally released by Padmashree Imran Shah, vice chancellor of Jagannath Barooah University Dr Jyoti Prakash Saikia, and literary pensioner Dipali Bhattacharya Barua.

On the occasion, the speakers encouraged the young poet to explore social life more deeply as a source of inspiration for future literary creations.

The programme was anchored by Sontosh Dutta and attended by a number of literary personalities and well-wishers, including Bharat Sharma, Tridib Bhunyan, Surjyakanta Das, Jayjyoti Gogoi, Prasanta Borghain, Shyamanta Ghosh, Aljijur Rahman, Riju Gogoi, Naziulla Rahman and Firoj Khan.
