SIVASAGAR, Nov 4: Union minister for petroleum and mining, housing and urban development, Hardeep
Sing Puri on Saturday inaugurated the Siu-ka-pha Multi-speciality Hospital in Rajabari during a
programme held at the hospital campus.

and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC), is being run by the Babasaheb Ambedkar Vidyakiya Pratisthan.
Addressing a huge gathering, Puri said, “The Sukapha 350- bedded hospital will provide world class
medical facilities to patients from across the state. The doctors and other staff are mostly from the state
now. People from other northeastern states will also be recruited in the future,”
Puri said that Prime Minister Naremdra Modi has prioritized development in the Northeast and more
than 300 visits from different Union ministers to the region in recent times amply proves that.

thank Union minister Hardeep Sing Puri for extending his cooperation in the project.”
State health minister, Keshab Mahanta said that the hospital was set up on the basis of a bilateral talk
between ONGC and the state government> The ONGC has implemented the resolution taken in this
regard. He added that Rs 500 crore has also been sanctioned for the Sivasagar Medical College and
