HOJAI, Feb 6: The ’Shrimad Bhagwat GIta’ is a gem for the entire human society. Everyone should utilize the lessons of the ‘Gita’ in their day-to-day life. Such a practice will usher in peace of mind and soul, said Sahitya Akademi translation awardee and distinguished Nepali litterateur Purna Kumar Sharma while releasing the book titled ‘Relevance of Shrimad Bhagwat Geeta in Daily Life’ at Sankardev auditorium in Geeta Ashram here on Saturday.
The book has been published by the Geeta Ashram Nyas (Trust) Hojai.
Speaking on the occasion, Sharma said, “Students should also study the Gita. It will help them to concentrate in their academic pursuits.
Among the dignitaries present on the occasion included Pandit Kuber Upadhyay, Rashtriya Swayam Sevak Sangh Shasatra Pracharak; Bashishtha Bujurbarua, Trust president; Yashoda Dulal Rakshit, secretary; Yadav Bhandari, Treasurer; and Ashok Kejriwal.
It is noteworthy that on February 16, 2022, a programme on the relevance of ‘Shrimad Bhagwat Gita’ in daily practical life was organized in the premises of the ‘Gita Ashram’, in which Rashtriya Swayam Sevak Sangh Shasatra Pracharak Bashishtha Bujurbarua and Vice-Chancellor of Rabindranath Tagore University, Hojai, Prof Amalendu Chakravaty highlighted the significance of the ‘Bhagawat Gita’ in detail.
