Ward 15 Councillor inspects Binapani Samiti Kalimandir construction in Athgaon

GUWAHATI, May 16: Ward 15 Councillor Saurav Jhunjhunwala inspected the ongoing construction work of the Binapani Samiti Kalimandir situated on S.C. Road, Athgaon.

The community hall-cum-temple project has been initiated under the Guwahati Municipal Corporation (GMC), for which an amount of Rs 25 lakh has been allocated under the initiative and supervision of Councillor Saurav Jhunjhunwala.

During the inspection, Councillor Saurav Jhunjhunwala reviewed the progress of the construction work and instructed the concerned engineers and officials to ensure timely completion of the project by September 2026.

He stated that the project will serve as an important centre for religious, cultural and community activities for the local residents.
