GUWAHATI, April 25: Bharti Airtel, a prominent player in India’s telecommunications sector, has announced a significant expansion of its network infrastructure in the picturesque regions of Leh and Ladakh. With the upcoming travel season on the horizon, Airtel aims to provide seamless 5G connectivity to both residents and tourists, enhancing their experience amidst the breathtaking landscapes of the region.
The network expansion encompasses over 40 zones within Ladakh, ensuring uninterrupted connectivity across key tourist destinations and high-altitude passes such as Chang-la and Khardung-La. Notably, Airtel has introduced its exclusive 5G service in select areas, setting a new standard for connectivity in Leh. Tourist hotspots including Pangong Lake and Turtuk – Nubra are now integrated into Airtel’s 5G network, promising visitors unparalleled access to high-speed internet services.
