Bandhan Bank unveils Elite Plus Savings Account

GUWAHATI, April 9: Bandhan Bank has launched the Elite Plus Savings Account, a premium banking product designed to cater to the evolving needs of affluent customers, offering a host of exclusive features and benefits, an official statement said on Wednesday.

The announcement was made by Partha Pratim Sengupta, Managing Director and CEO of Bandhan Bank, in the presence of Executive Director & Chief Business Officer Rajinder Kumar Babbar and Executive Director & Chief Operating Officer Ratan Kumar Kesh. Former Indian cricket captain Saurav Ganguly was among the first customers to open an Elite Plus account, the statement informed.

The Elite Plus Savings Account offers several premium features aimed at enhancing the banking experience for its customers. These include unlimited free cash deposits each month, as well as free RTGS, NEFT, and IMPS transactions. The account holders will also earn accelerated reward points and enjoy two complimentary lounge accesses every quarter. Other lifestyle benefits include complimentary movie tickets worth Rs 750 each month and exclusive access to premium golf sessions at select prestigious golf clubs across India.

Additionally, the Elite Plus account offers exclusive vouchers, milestone offers, and enhanced debit card insurance coverage, including personal accident cover up to ₹15 lakh and purchase protection of up to Rs 3 lakh.

Sengupta commented on the launch, stating, “With this new offering, we aim to meet the growing needs of our premium customers, providing them with unmatched convenience, rewards, and exclusive privileges. From luxury travel benefits to comprehensive insurance coverage, the Elite Plus Savings Account is designed to provide an unparalleled banking experience.”

Alongside the Elite Plus Savings Account, the bank has also reintroduced the Bandhan Elite Savings Account, now featuring additional benefits tailored to high-net-worth individuals (HNIs), further enriching the offerings for its affluent clientele.
