Bollywood Star Designer Ashley Rebello Visits INIFD Guwahati Center

GUWAHATI, April 10: Star Bollywood designer Ashley Rebello visited the INIFD Guwahati for an exclusive interaction with the design students recently. Notably, Rebello is also the personal stylist for Salman Khan.

During his visit, Rebello elaborated on the fine intricacies of the designs created for his various projects. The interaction also created awareness about the voguish forecast trends in fashion. He also shared the art of Fashion Design and the versatility involved in upcoming fashion trends. These creative inputs will certainly give a direction to INIFD students in their Design portfolios.

Impressed with the immense talent of the design students at INIFD Ashley said, “Sharing the Global fashion trends of today with the INIFD students will surely help them in preparing for their ongoing preparations for designing the collections for ‘local and international shows’ like FDCI x Lakme Fashion Week in India and for the international New York Fashion Week. It is a matter of pride not only for INIFD but for the whole country that the young aspiring designers have established a mark globally.”

Followed by the learning session, students celebrated the joyous occasion of Bihu with Ashley Rebello, trying to focus on the ethnicity of the festival, students dressed up in their stylized form of ethnic way. Later, a special felicitation was also carried out by the eminent designer Nandini Lahoty, a student of INIFD Guwahati, who was a part of the Implementation Team at Lakme Fashion Week March 2022.
