GUWAHATI, Oct 8: Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles has taken a major step in transforming the way premium motorcycles are purchased in India.
Following its pioneering launch of classic bikes on Flipkart in October 2024, the brand is now live on Amazon, covering more than 40 cities, with plans to expand to over 100 cities this festive season.
Jawa Yezdi was the first to explore the potential of online retail for premium 350cc motorcycles, creating a benchmark for the e-commerce segment.
The Flipkart debut not only introduced high-performance classic motorcycles online but also set a record conversion rate in the first month, doubling the previous industry best for online two-wheeler sales.
Sharad Agarwal, Chief Business Officer of Classic Legends, said that if young consumers can book holidays or buy cars online, they should be able to own a Jawa or Yezdi the same way.
Starting with Flipkart and now expanding to Amazon, the company is making the ownership journey seamless while keeping the soul of motorcycling intact.
The brand’s end-to-end digital initiative complements its extensive offline network of over 450 dealer touchpoints nationwide, ensuring buyers benefit from the full GST 2.0 advantages.
Customers can complete the entire purchasing process online, from model selection to booking, and pay the on-road price at the authorised dealership, which also manages registration and insurance.
Amazon is offering easy EMI options and five percent cashback for Prime customers using Amazon Pay ICICI co-branded credit cards. Flipkart provides a 24-month no-cost EMI and five percent cashback of up to Rs 4,000 on co-branded credit cards such as Flipkart Axis and Flipkart SBI cards, along with exclusive motorcycle finance and insurance facilities.
All Jawa and Yezdi motorcycles are backed by the comprehensive ‘Jawa Yezdi BSA Ownership Assurance Programme,’ an industry-first initiative in this segment.
The programme provides a four-year or 50,000 km standard warranty, with optional extended warranty coverage of up to six years.
Riders can also avail of a two-year anytime warranty within six years of ownership and one year of complimentary roadside assistance, extendable up to eight years.
Additionally, a five-year comprehensive AMC package ensures hassle-free servicing with predictable costs, offering a smooth and worry-free ownership experience.
The models available on both Amazon and Flipkart include the Jawa 350, 42, 42 FJ, 42 Bobber, Perak, and Yezdi Adventure Single Headlight, while Amazon has also listed the Yezdi Scrambler.
More than 40 dealers across over 30 cities are live on the platforms, with additional locations expected in the coming weeks.
