Amazon Pay Asks Customers To Be More Cautious While Transacting Digitally

GUWAHATI, May 19: Amazon Pay is on a mission to encourage customers to not share their private information like PIN, OTP, or CVV numbers digitally. It is further committed to having a safe digital payments experience, ensuring that messages are received after every transaction, and thoroughly reviewing the financial statements. It advised customers against sharing credit or debit card numbers, ATM PINs, or OTPs over a phone call, text, or email. Furthermore, it asked customers to immediately contact the issuer of the payment instrument to report any fraudulent transaction.

It added that Amazon Pay UPI has observed an increased acceptance from tier – 3 and 4 cities, owing to the seamless, safe, and rewarding experience. Amazon Pay’s co-branded credit card also enables a cashless, rewarding journey with its EMV secure chips, and each contactless transaction includes a unique code that changes with each purchase to ensure that details and transactions are safe.
