Bimal Cars opens new dealership in Barbari Guwahati

GUWAHATI, April 9: Bimal Cars opened a luxurious all-new dealership of Tata Motors assure dealership & electric vehicle at Barbari at VIP Road in Guwahati on Sunday. Minister for Fisheries, Excise and Transport, Parimal Suklabaidya graced the programme as chief guest. Sourabh Roy (GM RCFI,Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd), Bimal Sarawgi(M D Sidhartha Sarma (regional manager Northeast Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd), Avik Das (senior manager Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd), , Ankit Mishra (Territorial sales manager Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd), ),Bimal Sarawgi (MD Bimal Cars), Arihant Sarawgi (MD Bimal Cars) , Dipankar Das(GM Bimal Cars) and Prakhyat Baruah(Senior Manager Tata Motors Passengers Vehicles Ltd) were also present on the occasion.

The cabinet minister also officially delivered  10 XPres-T vehicles to Smart Cab company at the programme. The new XPres-T  electric sedan comes with Range – 306 (ARAI Certified), comes only with single range option. It packs a high energy density battery of 26 kWh which can be charged 8.45 hrs approx in home charger & 1 hr approx in fast charger.

The Showroom authorities were hopeful that the new dealership will attract luxury-loving customers during the festive season. The new dealership will offer all types of vehicles from Tata as well as their electric vehicles.

The Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (FADA) has recently released the sales figures for passenger vehicles for the month of March 2023. According to this data, Tata Motors has finally overtaken Hyundai to take the second spot in the sales chart in India. Tata Motors sold 46,847 units of passenger vehicles in March 2023.
