GUWAHATI, Jan 11: At a glittering launch event held on Sunday evening at the Heritage Udeshna Mall premises, Gargya Mahindra unveiled Mahindra’s latest offerings, the all-new XUV 7XO and XEV 9S.
The models were launched in the presence of noted Assamese singer Dikshu, adding star appeal to the occasion.

The Mahindra XUV 7XO has been introduced at an introductory price of Rs 13.66 lakh, while the XEV 9S is priced from Rs 19.95 lakh.
Packed with advanced features, both models are expected to make a strong impact in their respective segments, further underlining Mahindra’s aggressive product strategy in the Indian automobile market.
The XUV 7XO features a distinctive “Coast-to-Coast” triple 12.3-inch HD screen setup, complemented by a 16-speaker Harman Kardon audio system with Dolby Atmos.
It is offered with 2.0-litre turbo-petrol and 2.2-litre diesel engine options, along with the new DAVINCI adaptive damping suspension and a Level 2+ ADAS safety suite.
Premium features such as ventilated seats for both rows, rear-seat “Boss Mode” and a 540-degree surround-view camera position the SUV as a technology-rich offering.
Built on Mahindra’s dedicated INGLO EV platform, the XEV 9S is positioned as a high-performance electric SUV.
It comes with battery options of 59 kWh, 70 kWh and 79 kWh, and can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in just seven seconds.
The electric SUV offers a futuristic cabin with a triple-screen dashboard, AR head-up display, panoramic Skyroof, ventilated seats for the first and second rows, and a 16-speaker Harman Kardon sound system with Dolby Atmos.
Features such as a 540-degree camera, Level 2+ ADAS and specialised Camp and PawPal modes add to its versatility.
Speaking at the launch, Mahindra ASM Simanta S Buzarbaruah expressed confidence in the success of the new models and thanked customers for their continued support, which has helped Mahindra emerge as the second-largest automobile player in the country.
Gargya Mahindra Managing Director Rahul Dev Sharma said that following the success of its first outlet at Bharalumukh, the dealership is set to open a second state-of-the-art showroom at Mathgharia, Narengi.
He added that the expanded network would enhance customer convenience and contribute to further growth in sales.
